Gunpowder cannon transformed the battlefields of Europe in the late 15th and into the 16th century and then those battlefields were transformed again as matchlock and wheel-lock firearms could be fielded by infantry…and cavalry. Cavalry of the period was typically of two main types: the Demi-lancer and the Reiter. Both typically wore three-quarters plate armour specialising on the lance for the former and a combination of sword and pistol for the latter.
This hard plastic box set allows you to build up to 12 riders equipped with sword, matchlock pistol, wheel-lock pistol, and lance. Optional armour pieces are included for the horses (or the horses can be used plain with the included saddles). A mix of hat and helmet types will expand their use to the battlefields of Europe in the 15th and 16th and into the 17th centuries. 8 War Dogs complete the box.
There are three unique frames in the box:
4X Rider and Horse Armour Frame
4X Conquistador Head/Saddle Frame
4X Horses Frame
